Boston Dynamics looks to be adding more capabilities to their SpotMini robot, as they have released a new video of it walking around an office on its own. The robot navigates its way around the office using cameras installed on its front, back, and sides. The robot had to first be driven through the path it took to map down its environment, and then it used the cameras to help avoid obstacles.
The SpotMini robot first caught people’s attention (much to their horror) as a viral sensation after Boston Dynamics posted a video of it opening doors on its own and a human trying to stop it from entering a room.
