The Surface Laptop Go 2 is a machine built for speed, and on test, it was fairly capable of handling basic tasks on creative software – which is about the level we’d expect from a lightweight laptop. What really holds it back is the low-resolution screen, which makes graphic design and detail-oriented video editing difficult and disappointing.
