Following Acer’s Predator X27 going on sale for online pre-order, ASUS is releasing their own NVIDIA G-Sync HDR monitor next month. The ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ has a 27-inch display with 3840 x 2160 4K HDR resolution, a 1,000-nit brightness at its peak (but can sustain an average of 600-nits), and 384 local dimming zones. The monitor also boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and is rated to cover “7% DCI-P3 and 99% AdobeRGB color gamut.”
For all those nifty specs come a hefty price as the PG27UQ will retail for a whopping $1,999.99. The monitor will start shipping in late June.
