Asus, a Taiwanese PC manufacturer, has unveiled its newest gaming phones, the ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone. The Asus ROG Phone 6 series offers several enhancements over its predecessor. It comes with a fresh processor, a revised design, and a tonne of new technology to give mobile gamers an edge.
Price, availability, and more of the gaming phones
In India, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the Asus ROG Phone 6 is available. The cost of the device is Rs. 71,999. Besides that, a single 18GB RAM + 512GB storage edition of the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro is released. The price for that is around Rs 89,999.
However, according to Asus, the company will use its social media platforms to announce the sale and availability information. Phantom Black and Storm White are the available color options for the ROG Phone 6. Storm White is the only color option available for the ROG Phone 6 Pro.
Specifications for the Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro
The newest gaming phones, ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro share many of the same specs. A bespoke 678-inch Full-HD+ Samsung AMOLED screen on both devices features a 165Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. The Gorilla Glass Victus protection is installed on the 2.5D curved glass of the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. On the back panel of the ROG Phone 6 Pro, there is a second PMOLED display that users can customize.
Both the devices come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and an Adreno 730 GPU. Moreover, the new cooling technology from Asus is there, which the manufacturer claims can lower temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, the ROG Phone 6 has bypass charging, which enables users to play games on the device while it’s plugged in and preserve battery life. Both the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro cameras have similar optical setups. It comes with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor and optics with ultra-wide and proximity focal lengths of 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels, respectively. The ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro’s 12-megapixel front-facing cameras are a benefit. People can enjoy face time with their family and friends.
