New tools on Reddit for hosting ‘Ask Me Anything’
On Wednesday, Reddit made several new announcements regarding the Ask Me Anything (AMA) feature of the platform. The companies states that the features that are newly introduced make hosting of ask me anything more fun and easier than before. These include a feature that can schedule and promote AMAs in advance or the one that has the ability to include guest collaborators and the ability to easily inform participants of the official close of AMS.
In a post on X, Reddit announced, “Hosting and participating in AMAs just got easier. As a host, you can now schedule and promote AMAs ahead of time, appoint co-hosts, and announce when your post is done. Attendees can now sign up for reminders ahead of time, get notified when the AMA starts, and quickly jump to questions that the host has replied to. Learn more:
Reddit ads new features such as RSVP through a new button for the ones who are participating in an ‘Ask Me Anything’. Users will also receive reminders beforehand and they can also sort responses by answered versus unanswered questions now. This will help them to get exactly what they are looking for. These new features are currently available for the ones who use Reddit on the desktop and the same will be made available for the mobile users very soon.”
