Apple has announced it will be releasing a model of their iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in the color red. The new launch is the result of Apple’s partnership with (RED), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa. Proceeds from purchases will go to the organization.
This is their second release in partnership with the charity as last year the company released a similar model but with white bezels at the front instead of the standard black. The possibly limited edition model will sell alongside existing variants in grey, gold, and silver.
The red iPhone will retail for the same regular price starting at $699. Preorders on the new model are now up and will ship to buyers on April 13th.
