Apple has released iOS 17 beta 2 to developers ahead of the public beta release next month.
Apple has just rolled out the second beta version of iOS 17 to developers, giving them a chance to test out some of the new features and improvements that were unveiled at the WWDC earlier this month.
One of these features is the new tap to AirDrop feature which allows users to touch their devices to transfer files. This tool also features a slick animation.
Another handy feature that comes with iOS 17 beta 2 is Message Check-In, which lets you share your location with your contacts when you arrive at a certain place. You can choose to send your exact location or a general area, depending on your preference and privacy.
iOS 17 beta 2 brings some enhancements to the Apple Music app, such as a new toggle that lets you adjust the crossfade length for songs between 1 and 12 seconds. Crossfade is a feature that blends the end of one song with the beginning of another, creating a smooth transition between tracks. You can also enjoy more options for the Apple Music widget on your home screen, with different sizes and layouts to choose from.
Lastly, StandBy mode now lets you turn off all notifications and CarPlay has received multiple new wallpapers.
