Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company that specializes in consumer electronics, software and online services headquartered in Cupertino, California, United States. Apple is the largest information technology company by revenue (totaling US$365.8 billion in 2021) and as of May 2022, it is the world’s second most valuable company,[7] the fourth-largest personal computer vendor by unit sales, and the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer. It is one of the Big Five American information technology companies, alongside Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft. The company created computers with novel graphical user interfaces, including the original Macintosh, which was launched in Ridley Scott’s highly acclaimed commercial “1984”. By 1985, the exorbitant expense of its products, as well as power disputes among executives, had created issues. Jobs resigned harshly and founded NeXT, taking some Apple employees with him. Wozniak stepped aside from Apple peacefully and pursued other endeavours, while Jobs resigned bitterly and founded NeXT, taking some Apple colleagues with him.

According to JP Morgan, Apple Inc’s income from gaming and music services will increase by 36% to $8.2 billion by 2025, as the iPhone manufacturer leverages its massive user base to boost subscription services. According to JPM analysts led by Samik Chatterjee, the two services are expected to have a combined subscriber base of approximately 180 million by 2025 – 110 million for music and 70 million for gaming – driven by the fast penetration of the internet and burgeoning gaming business.According to the brokerage, Apple Music, which was introduced in 2015 and is the second-largest music-streaming service after Spotify, will account for a larger portion of that income, raking in almost US$7 billion by 2025. Apple Arcade, a gaming subscription service that debuted in 2019, is expected to generate US$1.2 billion in revenue.

The business does not break down sales for gaming and music services, but the whole category, which includes the App Store, Apple TV, Arcade, and Apple Music, brought in US$19.82 billion in the March quarter. The company is regarded as Apple’s growth engine. Chatterjee, who is granted five stars by Refinitiv Eikon for his Apple estimate accuracy, believes the gaming sector will be worth US$360 billion by 2028, and music streaming will be worth US$55 billion by 2025.
