At Amazon’s event in Seattle, the company announced the new Alexa device which is a wall clock.
The new Echo wall clock has 10 inch display and LEDs around the clock located at the front which displays user’s active timers. When a user created a timer, a timer will appear in the LED and how long it is set. The user also has an option if they add another timer, it will show in the second LED that will automatically light up. The feature offers an automatic switch of time, whether a user wants to turn it on or off daylight saving time. The users also have an access when they want to set an alarm and a timer by commanding Alexa.
Amazon confirmed that the latest wall clock is needed to be connected with a nearby Echo device via Bluetooth so that it can trace timers, reminders and alarms, and a correct Timezone because it doesn’t have an Alexa built-in.
The new wall clock’s price starts at $29.99
