According to Ausdroid, at BETT in the UK, Acer announced its new Chromebook laptop models that include the same screen display.
The new Acer Chromebook 512 and Chromebook Spin 512 have a 12inch display with a resolution of1366 x 912 and an aspect ratio of 3:2. The Chromebook 512 has a 180 degree hinge while the Chromebook Spin 512 has 360 degree hinge. The Chromebook 512 includes a Wacom electro-magnetic resonance stylus. It runs with Intel Pentium Silver N5000 or Celeron N4100 processor while the Chromebook Spin 512 runs with dual-core Celeron N4000 processor. Both models have two options of storage which are 4GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 8GB RAM with 64GB ROM that includes a MicroSD card slot. The Spin 512 is confirmed to have an 8MP HD front camera with HDR and 88 degree wide-angle lens features.
The company has not yet confirmed the launch date of the two devices in Australia, but it will be available to the US in April. The starting price for Chromebook 512 is $329.99 and for Chromebook Spin 512 is $499.99.
