With its Nord series, OnePlus underwent a change in the last two years. After introducing a few smartphones in the Nord-series that are considerably less expensive than the flagship models, OnePlus is now apparently planning to introduce a Nord-series wearable in India.

The business will reportedly soon start internally testing the new wearable, which several reports claim may simply be dubbed the “Nord Watch,” and it might arrive as early as Q3 2022.

According to a recent TelecomTalk story, the Nord Watch was just found on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, and according to Twitter tipster Mukul Sharma, the product is about to go through internal testing in the nation.

Specifications for the Nord Watch are not currently well known. But we anticipate it to be a scaled-back version of the OnePlus Watch that was introduced in 2017. Although we’ll have to wait a little while to find out for sure, the Nord Watch might also run the same RTOS operating system as the OnePlus Watch.

Along with the OnePlus Band and the OnePlus Watch, the Nord Watch would be the company’s second smartwatch and third wearable product overall. Although the latter is more expensive, with prices starting at Rs 13,999 on the OnePlus website, it is anticipated that the Band and the future Nord Watch will be more cost-effective options.

The Nord Watch may have a price considerably below the Rs 10,000 threshold, which would enable it to compete with other companies in the market, such as Noise, Boat, Fire Boltt, and others. The gadget will probably include all the popular functions, including a SpO2 sensor, sleep tracking, and heart-rate monitoring.

Additional capabilities including a heart-rate monitor, sleep tracking, and a blood oxygen monitor are anticipated for the OnePlus Nord Watch. For the unfamiliar, the OnePlus Watch’s highlights include a 1.39-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED display, 402mAh battery, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage, as well as Gyroscope, Geomagnetic, Optical heart rate, and Blood Oxygen sensors.
