Since last week, iQOO has been teasing the Neo6 in India, and today the firm revealed that the Neo6 would be released on May 31.
However, the Neo6 that will be released in India is not the same as the one that was released in China in April. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will power the Chinese variant, while the Snapdragon 870 will power the Indian model.
In India, iQOO will introduce the Neo 6, its latest mid-range device. The Neo 6 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and 80W fast charging will be released on May 31 in India, according to the manufacturer. iQOO verified the smartphone’s launch and sale on Amazon in India, however, the business afterward removed the information.
iQOO also revealed the design and color palette of the future smartphone in the now-deleted teaser. The design also depicts the camera configuration of the Neo 6, which will be released on May 31 in India.
The iQOO Neo 6 is the company’s mid-range product. It is likely to cost less than Rs 30,000. In a similar price range, the smartphone will compete with the Motorola Edge 30, Samsung Galaxy M53, and others. The phone will be available in Blue and Rainbow gradient color variants, according to the teaser. On May 31, the smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon and will be released on the same platform.
The phone’s characteristics and pricing have not been released by iQOO. According to prior rumors, the Neo 6 would include a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz capability. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU with up to 12GB of RAM powers the smartphone. The Neo 6 is likely to be available in two to three RAM configurations, with the 12GB model being the most expensive. The phone is anticipated to include a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging capabilities.
The Neo 6 has a 64-megapixel main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP B&W sensor in the camera section. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front. The phone comes preloaded with Android 12.
