WhatsApp is one of the most widely used instant messaging services. Hundreds of millions of people rely on the Meta-owned service to communicate with businesses and loved ones all across the world. Despite its popularity, this software lacks several of the advanced features offered by its competitors. Despite its lack of funding, Telegram, for example, introduces new features more frequently than WhatsApp. Many users have been waiting for WhatsApp Message Reactions for quite some time. For a while, the company had been testing it with a small group of beta testers. The good news is that it’s now available to everyone in the world, on both stable and beta builds.

Mark Zuckerberg revealed that WhatsApp Message Reactions are now available in a Facebook post. It will now be available to users of the most recent versions of iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. It’s worth mentioning, though, that this is a phased implementation. According to WABetaInfo, it will take up to a week to reach all users. If you haven’t yet seen Message Reactions on WhatsApp, make sure your app is up to date and wait for it to arrive.

Thumbs Up, Red Heart, Face with Tears of Joy, Face with Open Mouth, Crying Face, and Folded Hands are the six emojis that WhatsApp now offers as reactions. However, the business has already stated that it intends to support all emojis and skin tones in the future. To utilize WhatsApp Message Reactions, simply tap and hold a message in a private or group chat, then select one of the six emojis that appear.

Furthermore, WhatsApp increased the maximum number of members in a group chat from 256 to 512. However, WhatsApp says it is “slowly bringing out the ability” to add up to 512 individuals to a group, so you’ll have to wait until then.
