According to 9to5Mac, Apple is planning to release the upcoming version of macOS with new Music, Podcasts, and Books apps.
The upcoming version of macOS is said to have major improvements and changes of its designs and features. The new version will have standalone Music, Podcasts, and TV app. The three upgraded apps will be created with the use of Apple’s new technology, Marzipan. The Books app will have a new design icon. It will include a new sidebar which is similar to News app on the Mac and a smaller title bar with separate tabs for Library, Book Store, and Audiobook Store. The app’s sidebar has the list of user’s Books, Audiobooks, PDFs, and custom. The new macOS version is expected to have the iTunes app.
9to5Mac has a chance to see the new icons for Podcasts and TV apps on macOS.
Apple has not yet announced the launch date of its upgraded macOS version.
