At an event in New York City, Lego announced its new Prime Set which will be able to help students to think critically and solve problems through playing bricks.
The new Lego Education Spike Prime Set includes bricks, programmable Hub, drag and drop software, and lesson plans that are created for any levels of students. The Spike Prime has highly accurate motors and sensors that will let the student build and design robots in a short period of time. The new kit has over 500 LEGO Technic elements such as a 3×3 frame, 2×4 brick, base plate, frames, wheels, and wire clips. The programmable Hub has a 5×5 light matrix, six input or output ports, integrated 6-axis gyro, speaker, Bluetooth connectivity, and rechargeable battery. The company is also offering Spike app which can be accessed through iOS, Chrome, Windows 10, Mac, and Android devices.
The new Lego Education Spike Set is now available for pre-orders with a starting price of $329.95.
