Xiaomi launched a new smartphone which is said to have an offer of 10GB of high-speed traffic that users can play games, listen to 2,600 songs, 200 episodes of online drama, watch 10,000 comics, and 300 hours King’s wayward play. The free data have been good for 12 months and it is only available in China.
The new Xiaomi Mi Play has a 5.84 inch water droplet full screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The Mi Play runs with Android Pie, octa-core 12nm processor, Media Helio P35 chipset, and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The AI-powered dual rear camera has 12MP + 2MP with an aperture of f/2.2, LED flash and a secondary camera with depth sensor. The front camera has 8MP with HDR feature. The storage of the phone has two options which are 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM. Both models include a MicroSD card slot that can be expanded up to 256GB. The capacity of the battery has 3,000 mAh. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
The Mi Play is now available in China and Malaysia with a starting price of ¥1099 ($159.76). The company has not yet announced the launch date in other countries. The available colors are Dream Blue, Twilight Gold, and Black.
