The version of Google Photos in iOS devices has features that will let users adjust the background color and change the focus of their portrait mode photo. The editing menu is located when a user pulls up a portrait photo in the app. If users want to change the focus they need to hold the screen and choose an area on their image. In changing the background, users must tap their main subject so that it will remain in color, and the background will change into black and white.
The app is available to iOS devices that have Portrait mode from its camera. The feature is under Edit in the Photos app.
The company confirmed that the app will be released for more Android devices soon.
