At Google’s small press event in San Francisco, the company confirmed that the Google Lens will be on Google Image Search with its new features.
Google Lens, a part of Google Photos, will bring to its image results so that users will easily do more activities with the pictures they have found on the app. Users will have to select the latest Lens button, then Google will find out the relevant photos. The feature recognizes other things that are also in the same image.
According to Engadget, Google will also release Featured Videos which will be located after the search selection. It includes animated previews of related results in the feed and with high quality videos to determine landmarks or things that are connected to the user’s search.
The company has not yet confirmed the date of the update but it was expected to start rolling out later this week.
