Spotify together with Nerdist offered exclusively Archie comics which include six episode video series created by Madefire.
The comic is entitled “Spotlight: Archie – The Riverdale”, a series which is based on new Archie stories by writer Mark Waid and artist Fiona Staples. The motion comic has voice acting and music which is added to the sequential art. Every episode has estimated 10 minutes long. Users need to scroll it down or click the “Play” button while reading the text or conversations.
CEO Jon Goldwater, Publisher of Archie Comics, told Nerist that “Archie has always been about trying to find new ways to get comics to fans and readers. And when the opportunity to work with Spotify arose, it was a perfect match. Being able to reposition these modern classics for new readers in this unique, motion comic format makes perfect sense and we can’t wait for fans to experience these beloved Archie stories in a new way.”
The company is still planning to have a partnership with other media companies for its improvement.
