Facebook change the icons on its navigation bar which is located at the bottom of the screen for iPhones and at the top of the screen for the Android phones.
According to CNET, Alexa Andrzejewski, Facebook’s Product Manager stated that the company wants the navigation bar to be available in shortcuts to show how people use Facebook. The shortcuts were personalized so that users can easily access to their most frequently used products. The first update is said to be automatically added to users shortcuts based on its usage, but Facebook upgraded it, so that users will have the authority to manage it. A large number of users will find four up to six icons in the customized navigation bar. The app will notify users when there was an added icon to their navigation bar.
The updated feature started rolling out more than 2 Billion of users globally.
