A new product leak from Apple has surfaced, but this time from an unsuspecting source. The Federal Communications Committee published photos of the iPhone X in gold, an unreleased color variant.
The photos were first spotted by 9to5Mac, and appear to be dated from September of last year. Apparently the photos’ confidentiality period had ended, prompting the FCC to publish the photos.
It had been previously reported just before the iPhone X’s release last year that they’d roll out a gold variant, but upon the release had only come up with gray and white/silver.
