Reports from TechCrunch and The Verge claim that Google is getting ready to revamp Gmail with a “fresh, clean look” with new features.
Both reports from the news outlets obtained this information via an email sent to Google employees and customers, who will also get a first look at the redesign as the new interface will be available to them and personal Gmail accounts soon.
Some of the new features mentioned in their new design include the new Google Calendar, offline support for storing emails, Smart Reply, and the ability to snooze emails.
In a statement to The Verge, Google confirmed the news saying “We’re working on some major updates to Gmail (they’re still in draft phase)”.
