Google Gears Up for “Made by Google” Launch Event

Google is preparing for its annual “Made by Google” event, scheduled for August 13. The company will unveil its latest products, including the much-anticipated Pixel 9 series of smartphones. This event, which starts at 10:30 PM IST, will be live-streamed on the “Made By Google” YouTube channel. Google’s new lineup will also feature the Buds Pro 2, Watch 3, and other exciting gadgets.

Reports suggest the lineup will include four models: Pixel 9, Pro, and Pro XL, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. These smartphones promise a range of features and innovations, appealing to both casual users and tech enthusiasts. Google is also likely to introduce the Pixel Watch 3 and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to complement the new smartphones. According to Flipkart, the Pixel 9 Pro XL and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be available in India, while the other models might remain exclusive to other markets.

India-Specific Announcements and New Features at ‘Made By Google’

Google has big plans for its Indian audience. A dedicated India launch event for August 14 is on the way, following the global event. Here, Google will make announcements tailored to the Indian market, particularly concerning the Pixel 9 series.

Leaks indicate that the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch display. In contrast, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will boast a larger 6.8-inch screen. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold stands out with its 8-inch primary foldable screen, accompanied by a 6.3-inch cover display. Additionally, Google will launch Android 15 at the event. The Pixel 9 series will be the first to ship with this new operating system, offering users the latest software advancements. Moreover, Android 15 will also be available for the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series, ensuring that existing users can enjoy the new features.

With the global and India-specific launches, Google is set to capture the attention of tech enthusiasts worldwide. The event promises to showcase not only cutting-edge smartphones but also a range of innovative accessories that will enhance the user experience.
