Users are frustrated by this new development, with some expressing their intention to stop using Instagram if the platform decides to stick with these unskippable ads. When one user clicked on the “i” button to learn more about Ad Breaks, the official description stated, “Ad breaks are a new way of seeing ads on Instagram. Sometimes you may need to view an ad before you can keep browsing.” However, this lack of transparency hasn’t sat well with many users.
