Crosby, Stills and Nash are back on Spotify five months after the supergroup pulled out in protest at Joe Rogan’s spread of Covid misinformation. According to Billboard, the group will donate profits from the stream to charities related to COVID-19 “for at least a month.” Returning to the site indicates a quiet and relatively ambiguous decision on their resistance, which increases the number of Rujan subscribers if confidently.

Grasspi, Stills & Nash announced the first time in February, and sometimes with Neil Yang’s band that they join his music as Unison, and when he removed his music, he was able to freely remove Spotify, he published a number of demonstrations and critics. In a blog post that was later deleted, Young wrote, “I do this because Spotify is spreading misinformation about vaccines – for those who believe they are spreading misinformation, it can be deadly.”However Young did not return to Spotify, which makes Crosby, Stills and Nash a bit uncomfortable. While the trio’s songs are back on Spotify, their albums under the big Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young banner contain some omissions: songs attributed to Young have yet to be released, such as two songs written by Joni Mitchell. He is also a protester on stage.Due to the unavailability of Young and Mitchell’s music, only six of the album’s 10 tracks are played. Crosby, Stills and Nash said in February that they will not return their music to Spotify “until they take real action to prove that concern for humanity must be balanced with business.”

But the group has apparently not released an updated statement on whether Spotify has made any changes to address its concerns.Spotify has made few changes since the protests began. Spotify CEO Daniel Eck has promised to spend $ 100 million on content for marginalized groups. The company began labeling podcasts on COVID-19. And Spotify released its content policies for the first time after The Verge got details of its restrictive policy on medical misinformation. The company has also conducted a damage check with at least two content creators. After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were criticized for misinformation about Covid-19, Spotify teamed up with the couple’s production company to rectify the situation and launch a show with Markle.
