The Sony WI-C100 neckband wireless Bluetooth earphones are now available in India. The new wireless earbuds are by far the most cost-effective Sony wireless earplugs currently available in India. They are a product of the C-series of entry-level wireless earbuds from the Sony company.
Specifications of Sony WI-C100
The Sony WI-C100 bluetooth earbuds have 9mm dynamic drivers with a frequency response range of 20–20,000 Hz. The earphones support the SBC and AAC Wireless codecs and connect through Bluetooth 5. A single charge of the earphones will last up to 25 hours. For charging user can use USB Type-C. The water resistance grade of the earphones is IPX4.
Though the Sony WI-C100 supports Dolby Atmos, it can only be used with a Sony WLA-NS7 transmitter and a Bravia XR TV. The earbuds may also be customised and changed in some simple ways using the Sony Headphones Connect app. Thus, they are compatible with Google Fast Pair and Sony’s 360 Reality Audio.
A built-in remote allows you to start the voice assistant, control playback, and volume level from the headset. The in-canal fit of the earphones offers some passive noise isolation.
Pricing and availability of Sony WI-C100 earphones
In India, the Japanese electronics giant Sony offers the WI-C100 as one of its most affordable models of wireless headphones. Although the MSRP of the product is Rs 2,790, but it is currently on sale. It is available at a huge discount thus costs Rs 1,699 only. The headphones is available on significant Indian e-commerce sites, numerous multi-brand electronics shops. Sony’s own ShopAtSC website, and Sony physical stores are also selling the same product.
The product has various competitors like Boat, Noise, OnePlus, Realme. Although the Sony WI 100 is best at this price, somehow, it lacks ANC.
